Quick answers to the most common questions about Baketsu.

How does Baketsu work?

Create a bucket for a city you want to visit, then fill it with places: restaurants, museums, viewpoints, anything you find in the built-in search. Once you arrive, the map and the list show you which of your saved places are closest to where you are right now. Visited a place? Swipe left to check it off.

Can I delete my data?

Yes, at any time. Baketsu has no servers of its own, so nothing is stored outside your device and your personal iCloud. To erase everything, open Settings from the home screen (top right corner) and choose Delete all data. This removes your data from the device and from your iCloud.

Why does Baketsu ask for my location?

Showing you the closest places from your list is the heart of the app, and for that it needs to know where you are. Your location is only used while the app is open, never stored, and never sent anywhere. Baketsu also works without location access, but it cannot sort your places by distance then.

What data does Baketsu collect?

None. Baketsu has no ads, no trackers, no analytics, and no account system. Your lists live on your device and in your personal iCloud, which we cannot access. The details are in the privacy policy.

How much does Baketsu cost?

Nothing. Baketsu is free and ad-free, and there are no in-app purchases.
